Geneva Hill Ingram McIntyre, of Kosse, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck. She was 91. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 13, 2011, at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Johnny Layton of the Lake Limestone Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Kosse City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Paul Ensminger, Kevin Ensminger, Donny Ensminger, Randy Ingram, and James Ingram, and great grandson, Cameron Ingram. Geneva was born November 26, 1919 to Joe Hill and Minnie Williams Hill at Cedar Springs. She is the last survivor of a family of thirteen children, with six brothers and six sisters. She lived all her adult life in Kosse, and was a professional seamstress for many years, working at sewing factories in Marlin, Groesbeck and Mexia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kosse. Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her parents; all of her brothers and sisters; her husband, Edgar Ingram; her second husband, J. D. McIntyre; and a step grandson. She is survived by three children, son, Charles Ingram of Kosse, daughter, Nora Ensminger of Kosse, and son and daughter-in-law, James and Pam Ingram of Kosse; 9 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter and 2 step great-great grandchildren.
