Robert Floyd “Bobby” Titt, of Lake Limestone, and former life-long resident of Brackettville, was found deceased on Friday, October 7, 2011, after having been missing since October 3rd. He was 57. A Memorial Service will be held by the family at Brackettville, Texas on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Bobby was born July 3, 1954 to William George Titt and Jessie (Harrison) Titt in Del Rio. He attended school in Del Rio, and lived most of his life in the Brackettville area. His craft was a crane operator for many years, until he became disabled. He moved to Lake Limestone to be near his daughter and grandchildren in July. The move was good for him as he adored his grandchildren and was a wonderful PawPaw. To his daughter, Catherine, he could not have been a better father and friend. He always gave the best hugs and best advice and would “shoot straight”. No matter what the problems, he always had an answer and would make her feel better. He never met a stranger and made friends of all he met. He always told his daughter, “When I leave this old world, don’t cry for me, because I’ve had a good life.” But, he will be forever missed. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, William George Titt and his mother, Jessie Norine Conner; two brothers, John Lee Titt and Edwin Ray Titt; and son-in-law, Joseph William Savell. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Savell of Lake Limestone; grandson, Joseph Robert Savell and granddaughter, Caitlyn Abigayle Savell of Lake Limestone; his daughter’s mother Donna Gayle Ross of Freeport; a brother and sister-in-law, William Avery Conner and wife Ann of Del Rio; a host of nieces and nephews; and many lifelong wonderful friends
