Nadell Patricia Kinsey

Nadell Patricia Kinsey, 86, of Trinity Cove, Texas died on December 4, 2011 at Laurel Court in Alvin, Texas. Friends and family are invited to attend funeral services at Groesbeck Funeral Home,1215 E. Yeagua, Groesbeck, Texas, Friday, December 9, 2011. Viewing is at noon, followed by chapel services at 2:00pm. She will be interred at Wealthy Cemetery in Normangee, Texas (located west of Normangee on FM 3, approximately 3 miles on the right.) Nadell was born, August 24, 1925 in Monticello, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles Tindall and Laura Mulzert. She was the second born of five children. On May 19, 1944 she married Orvil Ernest Kinsey. Nadell led a very full life. She served three terms as president of the Westgate Elementary PTA in Texas City, Texas. She obtained her Texas Real Estate license in 1966. She received numerous certificates and awards while employed by Houston Lighting and Power, including employee of the month in the Credit Department. She retired from HL&P in 1992. Nadell “Nana” touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. Nadell was preceded in death by her husband Orvil; daughter Patricia Morris; son Donald Kinsey; great-granddaughter Maeson Morris; two sisters, Bronell Davis, Mary McKay and three brother-in-laws. She is survived by her sister, Charlene Waters and her brother Richard Tindall; her daughter Orvileda Mae Holbrook-Berendt and husband Jim of Manvel, Texas; son-in-law Thomas Morris of Thornton, Texas; son Marvin Kinsey and wife Laura of Orange, California; son David Kinsey and wife Sheri´ of Altus, OK; grandson Ernest Morris and wife Beth of League City, Texas; grandson James Holbrook and wife Diana of Pearland, Texas; granddaughter Veronica Baker and husband Kyle of Pearland, Texas; granddaughter Alexa Kinsey of Green Cove, Florida; granddaughter Katrina Dye and husband Stephen of Forest Hill, Louisiana; granddaughter Nicole Wertz of Huntsville, Alabama; granddaughter Rene Straub of Altus, OK; grandson Philip Shaver of Altus, OK, grandson Clifford Shaver of Altus, OK; granddaughter Brianna Kinsey of Huntsville, Alabama; granddaughter Grace Shaver of Altus, Oklahoma; and 15 great-grandchildren Rebecca Morris, Haley Morris, Cole Holbrook, Amanda Holbrook, Miranda Lara, Shelby Morris, Stephanie Lara, Holly Baker, Madison Dye, Montana Straub, Sarah Baker, Luke Baker, Rachel Baker, Anna Claire Dye, and Kinsey Gossett.
