Louise Ross

Louise Ross, age 91, of Jewett, Texas , died Jan. 10 , 2012 in Jewett. Services will be 11 a.m.Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012 at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Dr. Herb Thomas of Circlewood Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Dean and her son Joe Dean. Survivors include her son Tom (Tommy) Dean and wife Jan of Jewett, Texas; daughter-in-law, Alice Dean of Fairhope, AL; and Grandchildren Heather Shaunfield and husband Phil of Jewett, Texas; Jack Dean and wife Kelly of Dublin, Georgia; Ron Dean of Birmingham, Alabama; Mike Dean and wife Chris of Valley, Alabama; Chris Dean and wife Kristen of Birmingham, Alabama; Granddaughters Lesa Perry and husband Al of McKinney, Texas; Lynn Hollis and husband John of Midland, Texas and numerous great- grandchildren. She lived in Tuscaloosa for many years until her retirement in 1985 from the Alabama Power Company. Pallbearers will be Jack Dean, Ron Dean, Chris Dean, Brian Strickland. Ed Graves, and D. G. Elliott. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to your favorite charity.
