Sibyl Marie Hill

Sibyl Marie Hill of Groesbeck passed away at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia on Monday, June 11, 2012, at age 76. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Groesbeck Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery near Teague. Pallbearers will be Brian Little, Andy Little, Lee Salvato, Lewis Salvato, Frank Salvato, and Jimmy Little. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven Garrett and James Hill. Sibyl was born December 9, 1935 to Aubrey Benge and Laura Lee (Shaw) Benge. She attended school at Teague and lived most of her life there. She was married to Robert Alexander Hill. Sibyl attended the Church of Christ in Teague most of her life. She was a homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, whose family was her whole life. She enjoyed being with them and especially spending time with her grandchildren. The past seven years, she had been a resident in Groesbeck LTC Nursing Home. Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R. A.Hill; two daughters, Dorothy Burleson and Sandra Smith; son-in-law, Jerry Burleson; sister, Imogene Bond; and five of her grandchildren. Sibyl is survived by a son, James Hill of Groesbeck; daughter, Nomie Hill of Houston; daughter, Gail Little of Groesbeck; daughter and son-in-law, Dianna and Frank Salvato of Groesbeck; and daughter, Camilla Hill of Groesbeck; twelve grandchildren: Brian Scott Little, Michael Anthony Little, Rachiel Renea Little, Melody Brooke Hill, Erica Marie Hill, James Robert Hill, Frank Lee Salvato, Jr., Lewis Reuban Salvato, Brittany Danielle Salvato, Miranda Nicole Salvato, Jessica Laura Christine Garrett, and Michael Thomas Burleson; seven great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy Lee Brewer of Teague; and nieces and nephews.
