Ronnie was born October 14, 1950 to Alvis Conrad Killingsworth and Dorothy Nell (Morris) Killingsworth in Mexia. He grew up in Houston and graduated from Spring Branch High School in 1969. Ronnie was united in marriage with Glenda Diane York on August 12, 1972 in Houston. In 1973, they moved to Kosse, where he raised cattle and was a welder. He was employed with Modern Welding in Houston traveling back and forth for ten years. In 1992, Ronnie and Diane moved to Groesbeck, and in 1996, he went to work for S&S Machining and Fabrication of Groesbeck, welding at the coal mine site at Jewett, keeping the drag lines and buckets in repair. Ronnie was an avid deer hunter while his health permitted, and for the past few years, his main emphasis in life was his new grandson, Joshua. He was an avid supporter of the Groesbeck Goat football program, and he and Diane did not miss a game, home or out-of-town, despite the weather, from 1992 until his health prevented his ability to attend the games. Ronnie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Groesbeck, and loved working with the youth, and having them in his home for fellowship. Ronnie was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Diane Killingsworth of Groesbeck; his daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Timothy Bastin of Temple, and grandson, Joshua Bastin; his mother, Dorothy Killingsworth of Groesbeck; his brother and sister-in-law, Rusty and Dianne Killingsworth of Willis; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mike and Donna York of Burnet; seven uncles and eight aunts; two nephews, four nieces, and many cousins.
