Timothy Joseph “Tim” Ainsworth, of Groesbeck, passed away at his home Monday, February 25, 2013, at age 64. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. J. R. Tapley officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Tim was born March 2, 1948 to Joe Oscar Ainsworth and Nan (Wells) Ainsworth at Conroe. He grew up and attended school in Conroe, and lived there most of his life. He and his former wife, Patty, owned Ainsworth Food Market in Conroe for thirteen years, where he enjoyed selling and visiting with the public. He was especially kind hearted in trying to help his customers with affordable food. Their daughter grew up in the store from a baby to being old enough to work there. After the grocery business, he worked the rest of his working years as a sales clerk in lumber and hardware businesses in Conroe. In Conroe, he enjoyed gardening, and raising chickens, and raising Fox Terrier dogs. Tim moved to Groesbeck thirteen years ago, where he worked at Woodson Lumber Co. for a number of years. Tim was a hardworking man, who was a perfectionist in taking care of his home and his yard. He was a people person who enjoyed talking with people and he had a funny sense of humor. He was a great father and also a great friend to his daughter. He enjoyed his grandchildren very much. Tim’s father preceded him in death. He is survived by his Mother, Nan Ainsworth Vincent of the Farrar (Fair Oaks) community; daughter, Amanda Ainsorth Ramirez and husband Sergio Ramirez of Conroe; grandchildren, Aaron, Eric, Madeline, and Nick Ramirez of Conroe; sister, Paula Ainsworth Hasara of Farrar (Fair Oaks); nieces, Lauren Hasara Mason and Chelsea Hasara Kimbrough; and nephew, Justin Hasara; and many other extended family members and friends.
