Claude Wallace Boone

Claude Wallace Boone, 84, of Ben Hur passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at his home in Ben Hur, Texas. VISITATION will be held 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 4, 2008 at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., April 5, 2008 at the Criswell Cemetery with Brother Travis Smith officiating. Mr. Boone was born September 24, 1923 to James Claude Boone and Mary Linnie (Reed) Boone in Riverside, California. Mr. Boone married Mary Opal Boone on June 24, 1950. She preceded him in death on May 28, 1998. Mr. Boone was a control operator at TXU in Savoy, TX. Survivors include his son Harley Boone of Pasadena TX, stepson Barry Hartnett of Ben Hur, TX; and two daughters Mary Beth Semosh of Southhaven, MS and Claudia Roten of Ben Hur, TX. Mr. Boone had nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
