Thelma Theresa Dick

Thelma Theresa (Thomas) Dick passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Groesbeck. Visitation will be held Sunday evening, July 14, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 AM on Monday, July 15, 2013 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Glen Easterly and Richard Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Faulkenberry Cemetery. Theresa was born in Thornton on November 3, 1938 to Hobert Oran Thomas and Thelma (Favors) Thomas and grew up in faith by the Church of Christ. She met Eddy Dick and they married August 29, 1958 and started their life together. Her husband was the only man she ever loved and devoted her life to him. Theresa loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her life and she loved each one with all her heart. She especially enjoyed having cook-outs with family and friends. Special times in her life were the family gatherings with her children and grandchildren both on holidays and special times anyone visited her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddy Dick; son, Glenn Dick; parents, Oran Thomas & Thelma Farmer and great-granddaughter Kayle Dawn Dick. Theresa is survived by her daughters, Janet Stone of Groesbeck, Laura Hampton of Houston; grandchildren, Logan Stewart of Groesbeck, Kristina Aldridge and husband Marcus of Wortham, Lindsey Truett and husband Justin of Groesbeck, JoGlenn Dick of Riesel, Amber and husband Manny Lopez of Groesbeck; great-grandchildren, Karlyn Truett, Adrianna Aldridge, Grayson Aldridge, Joie Dick, Jr. Dick, Douley Dick, Mackenzie Dick, Jeffery Lopez, Baby John Lopez and Armando Lopez; sister, Audrey Rand of Austin; brothers, Eddie Farmer and wife JoAnn of LaGrange and Smity Thomas of Waco, very special sister-in-law, Jaunita Herford of Sour Lake and nephew Mark David Bourgeois.
