George Ellen Carlile

George Ellen Carlile, 77, of Groesbeck passed away Saturday April 19, 2008 in Conroe Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Monday, April 21, 2008 at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Cobb Cemetery with Bro. Richard Williams officiating. George Ellen was born August 22, 1930 in Groesbeck to George and Ellie Mae Ferrell. After graduation from Groesbeck High School she worked as a lab technician until her retirement. On December 20, 1945 she married Kenneth Carlile. She is preceded in death by her husband on June 24, 2003. She is survived by her daughters Sue Wells of Groesbeck, TX and Nancy Gilliland Conroe, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Hulse of Groesbeck, TX, Nathan Davey and wife Tina of Groesbeck,TX, Shannon Davey and wife Amanda of San Antonio, TX, Margaret Garlick and husband Preston of Groesbeck, TX and Payne Davey of San Antonio, TX; and ten great-grandchildren.
