Jennifer Jo Meza-Nickels went home to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, near Bremond, Texas. She was born December 17, 1974 in Hearne, Texas and graduated from Deer Park High School in Deer Park, Tx. She worked at S&H Convenience Store in Groesbeck. She earned her LVN degree and worked for many years at Parkview Hospital in Mexia, prior to moving to Huffman, Tx. Currently, she was working at the Kingwood Medical Center. Jennifer had a love for family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Josh Nickels of Mexia; beautiful son and daughter, Joshua Jack and Jaylee Jo Nickels of Huffman; parents, Kim and Steve Coker of Bremond and Danny and Karmen Meza of Deer Park; brother, Danny Ray Meza, Jr. and his daughter, Gracie Meza of Deer Park; grandparents, Sandra Fowler Wiley of Bremond, Ray and Mary Meza of Deer Park, and Lois Ann Solomon of Witchia Falls; special life-long friends, Jonnette and DeWayne Taft of Huffman; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Alma “Maw Maw Duck” Fowler and Elmer “Cheezy” Fowler; her grandfathers, Oscar Joe “Poppi” Wiley (from Groesbeck) and Grady Solomon (from Witchita Falls); and uncle, Randy Solomon (from Witchita Falls). Visitation will be held at Groesbeck Funeral Home on Friday, August 30, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2013, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Faulkenberry Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Taft, Allen Bodin, Harley Taft, Klein Wiley, Scott Wiley, and Tyler Wiley. You will truly be missed – May you rest in peace.
