Debra Annette Myers

Debra Myers of Groesbeck passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Providence Hospital at age 60. A memorial service for Debra will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 10:00 A.M., at the First United Methodist Church in Groesbeck. Debra was born October 26, 1953 at Sioux City, Iowa to Albert George Durig and Edith M. Holmdal Durig. Around 1996, Debra moved to Groesbeck. She had worked at the car-detailing shop and cleaning for the public. Visiting and volunteering at Old Fort Parker was her joy in life after she lived here. This involvement brought her into friendship with Sarah McReynolds, Sherry Wharton, and Dolly Merryman, who have stood by her as her closest friends. Although there are no family surviving her, she will be remembered by her friends in the Groesbeck community.
