Constance Marie Anglin, from Lake Limestone, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2014, at Providence Hospital in Waco, at age 70. Constance, who was also known to many as Connie, was born September 4, 1943 in Oakdale, Louisiana to Connie Edward Bettis and Joyce Helen (Greene) Bettis. She grew up in Jacinto City, Texas and attended high school at Galena Park. After taking some technical college courses in accounting, she worked in accounting and lived most of her life in Jacinto City. Connie and her husband Bill Anglin moved to Lake Limestone, near her sister, in 1999. She worked for awhile at the Old Union Store for Frank Beck. She enjoyed using her hands in crochet and macramé, and raising vegetables in her garden. She loved fishing, and loved living at the lake. She had many friends around the lake, and enjoyed the fun times with the neighbor’s “can club” activities. Connie loved flowers all her life, which were her choice in gifts from her loved ones. A Memorial will be held at a later time for Connie by her family and friends. Constance was preceded in death by her parents, and also by her husband Bill Anglin after they had moved to Lake Limestone. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Shaver of Lake Limestone; daughter, Wanda Denise Schaner of Cedar Park, TX.; granddaughter, Shaylin Compton of Austin; and grandson, Cory Compton of Windsor, California.
