Preston Ernest Frazier, 66, of Kosse, passed away Friday, August 1, 2008 in Groesbeck. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M. Saturday, August 2, 2008 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. FUNERAL services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church of Kosse with Bro. Jimmy Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Kosse City Cemetery. Mr.Frazier was born June 18, 1942 in Sarah, Mississippi to James E. Frazier, Sr. and Helen B. Yount Frazier. Mr. Frazier served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 through 1964. He was a Mason and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a Master Electrician, with a Masters Electrician’s Degree from College of Mainland, Texas City, Texas, and a member of Electrical Union I.B.E.W. Local 527. Mr. Frazier served as the Limestone County Constable, Precinct 1, from 1987 through 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Genette Marie Frazier of Groesbeck; two step-daughters, Jonnie Mortensen of Thornton and Andrea Carlson of North Dakota; 5 grandchildren; two brothers, Jim Frazier of Wichita Falls and Larry Frazier of Levelland; two sisters, Susan Carman of Troup and Phyllis McIver of Kosse; friend and caregiver Barbara M. Frazier of Groesbeck, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Chad Frazier, Terry McIver, Richard Sexton, Kenneth Tidwell, John Rasco, and Robert O’Neal.
