Eloida, known as Lola, was born January 14, 1931 in Limestone County, TX. She, along with her siblings, was raised in Groesbeck, by her parents, Reverend Juan Liscano and Refugia Deleon Liscano. Lola resided in Chicago, Illinois, for many years and then moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana. There she worked at St. Joseph Hospital, until her retirement. Lola was married to her husband, William Moreno for the past ten years, and they resided in San Antonio. She loved being around family, and always had a special smile, caring heart and warm embrace for her dear nieces and nephews. She admittedly loved to shop. She also loved to travel. She enjoyed singing too. Above all, Eloida loved the Lord. Lola was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters: Eloy D. Liscano, Rebecca L. Mata, Raquel L. Torres, Unice L. Dominguez, Juan D. Liscano, and Deborah L. Quinones. She is survived by her husband, Willie Moreno; three brothers: Esteban D. Liscano, Eliseo D. Liscano; and Ismael (Miles) D. Liscano; and numerous nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly and will fondly remember her always.
