Kade Alexander Staton, three month old son of Meagan Young of Farrar and Cody Staton of Wortham, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016. Kade and his twin brother Kayson were born August 12, 2016 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. Kade was just old enough to be smiling and laughing, and he could light up a room with his smile. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016, at 12:00 Noon, with visitation prior to the service, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Shane Norcross will conduct the service and burial will follow in the Union Cemetery (FM 489, Freestone County.) Pallbearers will be Stephen Young, Shawn Staton, Chris Norcross, and Cody Cotton. Honorary pallbearers will be Harly Staton and Wyatt Staton. Kade is survived by his mother and father, Meagan and Cody; his older brother, Monty Masters and his twin brother, Kayson Staton, of Farrar; his grandfather, Carl Young of Farrar; grandparents, Leslie and Chester Carroll of Port Arthur; grandparents, Becky and Brian Staton of Wortham; uncles, Harley and Wyatt Staton of Wortham; aunts, McKenzie Young of Farrar and Macy and Miranda Sizemore of Port Arthur; great grandparents, Niel and Shirley Padgett of Grand Prairie, Gene and Gail Dykes of Liberty Hill, and Freda Gremminger of Mexia; aunt and uncle, Jennifer and Stephen Young of Burkburnett; and uncle, Shawn Staton of Georgetown; and numerous cousins and other extended family.
