Debra Ann (Samford) Vice, of Garland and formerly of Groesbeck, passed away at her home on Monday, December 5, 2016, at age 62. Graveside services (no prior viewing or visitation) will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, December 12, 2016, at Mustang Cemetery (off Highway 14 South). Brother Richard Williams and Brother Cliff Fox of the Church of Christ of Groesbeck will officiate at the service. Debra was born December 13, 1953 to Durwood Lee Samford and Gloria Wayne (Ryno) Samford (Dugan). She graduated from Groesbeck High School, Class of 1972. Debra traveled to Germany to live at only the age of 18, then later graduated from Navarro College and started working as a nurse at Parkland Hospital for 8 years before she became ill. She spent the remainder of her life helping raise her grandchildren. She loved traveling to Arizona, cooking, trips to the beach and of course her dogs. She will be greatly missed by her daughters who loved her very much. She is survived by her daughters Brandi Jolene Vice and Charity LeeAnn Vice. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Haileigh Dodd, Sadie and Shalimar Terry and Cody Terry.
