Kathy Lynn Webster

Kathy Lynn Webster, of Mexia, passed away at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center in Waco, on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at age 36, Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. at Fort Parker Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Randy Ayres of the Word of Life Family Worship Center officiating. Pallbearers will be James Webster, Larry Montalvo, Robert Rose, Jeremy Stringer, Rodney Bluitt, William Bozeman III, A. J. Estrada, and Ricky Kinsey. Kathy was born November 13, 1980 at Galveston to Mark Dwayne and Cheryl Lynn (Nichols) Lavergne. She grew up in the Houston area, and she raised her infant son there until moving to several different locations through the years. Kathy was united in marriage with James Earnest Webster on February 12, 2009 at the Word of Life Family Worship Center in Groesbeck. They made their home in Groesbeck a few years and since have lived in Mexia. Kathy worshipped at the Word of Life Family Worship Center in Groesbeck. She enjoyed staying in touch with her family and friends on the phone and through Facebook. She had suffered with asthma all her life, and her health declined seriously in the past year. Kathy was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joe Nichols and Francis Sheldon Lavergne; uncle, Alan Nichols; and aunt, Katherine Irene Nichols. She is survived by her husband, James Webster of Mexia; mother and step-father, Cheryl Lynn and Larry Montalvo of Houston; father, Mark Dwayne Lavergne of Tennessee; son, Alan Wesley Lowe of Brownwood; sister, Alice Marie Stringer of Pearland; brother-in-law, Jeremy Stringer of Houston; niece, Tammy Rae Montalvo of Dickenson; niece, Alexandra Lynn Kirby of Tomball; brother, Curtis Lavergne of Tennessee; sister-in-law, Catherine Webster of Mexia; aunt, Linda Ingram of Centerville; grandmother, Joann McFarland of Centerville; grandfather, Paul McFarland of Lufkin; grandmother, Alice Lavergne of Texas City; uncles, Edward Lavergne of Nacogdoches and Jerry Lavergne; aunt, Peggy Lavergne of Texas City; cousins, Robert and Kevin Rose of Teague; and other extended family.
