Peggy Joyce Jasinski, of Kosse, and formerly of Brenham, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, at her residence, at age 75. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 15, 2009, at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Chaplain Jim Milsaps officiating. Burial will follow at the Kosse City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Will Hooks, Cody Mason, T. J. Cordova, Frank Cordova, Ty deCordova and Tim Cordova. Peggy was born at West, Texas, on September 6, 1933, to Roy Lee Mosley and Edith (Bryant) Mosely, who have preceded her in death. She grew up and attended school in Brenham. Peggy was united in marriage with Steve Jasinski, Jr. on November 7, 1953 at Brenham, Texas, where they lived until recently moving to the Kosse area in 2008. Peggy was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church Wiedeville of Brenham. She was an avid Elvis fan all her life, since seeing him perform in person. She loved bowling and playing cards. She was a loving wife and homemaker, and was greatly involved with her children and grandchildren, and would do anything for them. She is survived by her husband, Steve Jasinski; three daughters, Rayenell Mason of Houston, Pam Pavlicek and husband Tony of Brenham, and Brenda Diver and husband David W. of Kosse; eight grandchildren, Anthony Pavlicek of Brenham, Whitney Pavlicek of Brenham, Dennell Mason of Houston, Renny Mason of Jacksonville, Florida, Cody Mason of Houston, Melanie Mason of Houston, Jennifer deCordova and husband Ty of Groesbeck, and Jessica Diver of Kosse; also, a great grandson, Braydon Durandette of Houston and great granddaughter, Peyton Jean deCordova of Groesbeck.
