Betty Coon

Betty Coon passed away Monday, August 24, 2009, at the Windsor Healthcare Residence in Groesbeck, at age 70. Visitation will be Saturday, August 29, 2009, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Betty was born on October 25, 1938, to Jack Ranson Noble and Jorhea Little Noble at Houston, TX. She worked in the banking and accounting field. She was married to Elmer "Bud" Coon on October 1, 1977 in Houston, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Coon formerly lived at Lake Limestone near Jewett before moving to the Windsor Healthcare Residence. Betty was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Bud Coon, who passed away October 2, 2008. She is survived by son, Jesse Howard and his wife Rinku of Houston, daughter, Julie Howard of Houston, daughter, Crystal Howard of Houston, and son Russell Howard; two stepsons and three stepdaughters; 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
