Pauline Walker of Groesbeck passed away peacefully Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM in the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10 AM in the First Baptist Church of Groesbeck with Rev. Tracy Sims, Rev. Keith Collier and Bill Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Lost Prairie Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Henry, Dennis Henry, Darius Farmer, Chris Henry, Jon Cooper, Larry Story, Randy Story, and Dale Story. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Cruz, Derek Cruz, Casey Bostain, Steven Henry, and Tommy Thompson. She was born on November 9th 1930 in Groesbeck Texas to John and Effie Henry, and lived there until she met the love of her life, Welton Walker, in 1950. She graduated Valedictorian of Groesbeck High School and went on to study at Westminster Jr. College. Pauline retired as an Administrative Secretary at the Safeway Stores Division Office in Dallas. She then moved back to Groesbeck and enjoyed many activities including Study Club and Garden Club. In her leisurely hours she enjoyed riding four wheelers, fishing, creating floral arrangements, shopping, cooking for family, and spreading love and affection to those around her. Pauline became a Christian at an early age and served the Lord by singing and playing piano at many churches. She will always be remembered as a sweet and caring individual who selflessly gave and unconditionally loved. She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Welton; brothers, Johnny, and J.R. and sister, Dorothy. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Bostain and husband Randy of Groesbeck, TX; grandsons, Mark Cruz and wife Lauren of San Francisco, CA, Derek Cruz and wife Jessica of Houston, TX, and Casey Bostain of Ferris, TX,; great-granddaughters, Ashley, Lillian and Carlie Cruz all of Houston, TX; brothers, Gaylan Henry and wife Linda of Fort Worth and Melvin Henry and wife Mary Ann of Mesquite; brother-in-law Joe Holmes of Jewett and many nieces and nephews.
