Danyell Nichole Gordon was born on February 28, 1997 in Quitman, Texas to Jacqueline “Sissy” Beaird and Danny Gordon. She passed away on January 22, 2018 at home in Groesbeck, TX. A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 25, 2018, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Danyell was a graduate of Groesbeck High School in 2016. She was a child care provider and member of Word of Life Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Jackie Huggins of Quitman; paternal grandmother, Carol Gordon Pennington Slaugher; and her paternal grandfather, Billy Pennignton. She is survived by her son, Bryan Adam Parmer and his father, Brett Parmer of Groesbeck; her parents, “Sissy” Beaird and Jr. of Jewett and Danny Gordon of Groesbeck; her special aunt and uncle Gary and Priscilla Gordon of Groesbeck, who were her co-parents; two sisters, Jessica Tullos of Centerville, and Jennifer Harbor of Dickenson; and three brothers, John Beaird of Huffman, Clayton Gordon of Aransas Pass, and Christopher Gordon of Aransas Pass. Also still living are her paternal grandfather, Gary Gordon Sr. of Mexia and maternal grandparents, Betty and Jerry Dean of Mineola; uncle and aunt, Ed and Amy Gordon of Flynn; uncle Marshall Gordon of Thornton; first cousins, Ashley Gordon of Buffalo, Dustin Gordon of Midland, Kelly Setters of Normangee, Kenneth McKenzie of Normangee, Heather Gordon of Centerville, Matthew Gordon of Centerville, Joshua Gordon of Groesbeck, Jonathan Gordon of Jewett, Amanda McKenzie of Houston; and many other relatives and friends.
