Skipper was born June 10th, 1978, to Jeanette Rancher in Houston Texas. From a young age he loved spending his time on the water. Whether it be Lake Conroe or Lake Limestone, that was where you could find him. He loved to brag about his fishing skills, but it was rare he ever made a catch.

In 2007, Skipper caught the ultimate catch when he met his soulmate Angel Ayres and later proposed in 2018. They spent the last 15 years together making priceless memories. He and Angel had one son, Luka Ryan who was his absolute pride and joy. There is no way to put into words the love he had for ‘his boy Luka.’

Skipper was a jack of all trades and never met a stranger; you name it he could build it. He was an exceptional carpenter and loved coming up with what he would call ‘million dollar' inventions. Skipper had the ability to make anyone laugh and turn any moment into a time of fun and jokes. He had no problem being the center of attention.

A loving father, husband and friend you could always count on, his memory and impact on all he knew will undoubtedly live on forever.

Skipper was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Rancher; brother, Anthony Cruz; grandparents, Thelma and Ray Rancher.; and cousins, Kevin Rancher and James Ryan Bates.

He is survived by his wife, Angel and son, Luka Rancher; son, Zane Aguilar; sister, Treena Rancher and brother in law, Mitchell Stowe; brother, Jason Rancher; nephews, Andrew Lawrence and Anthony Rancher; and nieces, Addyson and Alizabeth Rancher.
