Aubrey Lee Carpenter, of Lake Jackson, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021, at age 32.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Cobb Cemetery, with visitation at the cemetery before the service, on Sunday, July 18, 2021, with Reverend Bill Sutton officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michelle Buckalew, Sommer Buckalew, Jacob Reed, Scott Reed, Jona Breazeale, and Hunter Hidalgo. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Buckalew, Dustin Jones, Robbie Carpenter, Phillip Carpenter, and Thomas Carpenter.
Aubrey was born January 30,1989 to Kenneth Clyde Carpenter and Sherrill Reed Carpenter of Lake Jackson. He attended school at Ney Elementary and then at Brazoswood High School.
Aubrey worked in the carpentry and plumbing field, as a passion in his life was being outdoors.
He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, working out and running. He always made friends easily, played practical jokes and loved performing crazy stunts around his family.
Aubrey has been preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robbie and Barbara Carpenter; his maternal grandparents, Pete and Betty Reed; paternal uncles, Sonny and Danny; and maternal uncle, aunt and cousin, Darrell, Nancy and Keli.
He is survived by his daughter, Ryleigh Carpenter of Houston; his father, Ken Carpenter of Houston; his mother and stepfather, Sherrill and Gary Gore of Lake Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Abbey and Hunter Hidalgo of Houston; aunt and uncle, Robin and Bob Buckalew of Centerville; uncle, Scott Reed of Lake Jackson; and nine cousins.
