Bill Calvin Flora, passed away at the age of 75 on December 11, 2021, in Waco, Texas. He was born on September 16, 1946, in Houston, Texas.
Bill will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery, Houston, TX on January 13, 2022.
Bill was adopted at an early age and was raised in Alvin, Texas. Shortly after high school he enlisted in the United States Army and served for 11 years. While being stationed in Germany, he met Elke Schukraft and started a family. After serving his time in the Army he moved his family to Texas.
He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, working on cars and his love for animals. His two daughters took on the love of animals as well. He loved taking his youngest daughter, Valena, to all her horse shows and clinics. He was always in a good mood and told jokes.
He will be greatly missed and survived by his long-time partner Judy Foster of Groesbeck, Texas. He is also survived by his two daughters Nancy Flora of California and Valena along with husband David of Cleveland, Texas. Bill was a grandfather to Gabriel Gonzales, Benjamin Hyder and Lauren Hyder, whom all reside in Cleveland, Texas. Bill also had several brothers and sisters.
