Braxton Lee Johnson

Braxton Johnson, 18, beloved Son, Brother, Great-grandson, Nephew, and Grandson, was called to his eternal resting place on October 5, 2024 in Bruceville-Eddy, TX, alongside his father Michael David Morris Jr. 

Visitation will be held at Groesbeck Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

Funeral services will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, October 13, 2024, and burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery.

Braxton entered this world on October 12, 2005, in Fort Hood, TX, born to Michael David Morris Jr and Kaylynne Alexandria Lyon-Masterson. 

Braxton is preceded in death by his grandfathers: Mike Morris and Ricky Lyon; grandmother: Melissa Ann Northrup; great grandfathers: James Masterson, Comanche Kinsey and Mike Jameroz; great grandmothers: Ella Belle Burnett-Masterson and Brenda Soloman; aunts: Terry Tanturri, Sherry Wagers, Laura Morris, Lisa Goss; and uncles: James Masterson, Richard Masterson, Ralph Haley, and Anthony Morris; and his father, Michael Morris, Jr. 

He is survived by the following very large and extended family: his Mother, Kaylynne Lyon-Masterson; stepfather, Willie Childs; brother, Jordyn Julin; sister, Aubree Zayas; brother, Preston Lyon; sister, Amber Lyon; stepbrother, Adonis Jett; and stepbrother, Malcolm Childs;
