Butch Sherman of Shiloh passed away at home on Saturday, December 21, 2019 after a battle with kidney and heart failure during the past year.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, with Pastors Heath Smith and David Snow officiating.
Butch was born August 20, 1949 in Dalhart to Robert Lloyd Sherman, Sr. and Lois Armstrong Sherman White, and grew up in Waco. He had lived in the Shiloh community for the past twenty years.
Butch was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Brandy Garrett in 2016; and nephew, Bradley Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sherman of Mexia (Shiloh); sister, Jerry Brown of Groesbeck; son, Josh Sherman of Waco; daughter, Varinia and husband Bob Kirk of Plano; daughter, Heidi and husband Jeremy Shaw of Longview; niece Denise and husband Flint McLean of Groesbeck; grandchildren: Holden Garrett of Groesbeck, Colby Shaw of El Paso, Jillian Shaw of Longview, Tristan Kirk of Plano, R.J. Kirk of Plano, Kirstynn Shaw of Longview, Samantha Klink of Phoenix, AZ, and Jake Klink of Kernersville, NC; great grandson, Conor Shaw of El Paso; and his faithful dog, Leo.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Butch may be made to a favorite charity of your choice.
