David Wilson Gann

October 27, 1940 — October 5, 2021

David Wilson Gann, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away October 5, 2021, at his home near Kosse, Tx.  

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Victoria, Tx

David was born in Kerens, Tx on October 27, 1940, to Howard and Mary Alice Gann.  He graduated from high school in Corpus Christi, Texas, and at age 17 joined the Marines. He attended Lamar University and received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.  David retired from Alcoa to start his engineering firm, G&W Engineers, in Port Lavaca, Tx. 

He was an avid fisherman, hunter and grew the most amazing garden. He was extremely generous and donated to several organizations. 

David is preceded in death by parents, Howard and Mary Alice Gann; former wife, Judith Gann; son, Darrell Gann and granddaughter, Amber Villarreal. 

He is survived by his wife Jacki Gann; his children, Darron and wife Karen Gann, Cheryll and husband Tim Grafton, Missy and husband Manny Trent, Jennifer Miller, David and wife Jill Jurenka, and Joey Jurenka; 13 grand-children and 15 great grandchildren.   His brothers are Dennis Gann and Jack Gann.  

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in his honor to: Tunnels to Towers; St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or other organization of your choosing.
