Donald "Donny" Harold Ensminger

Donald Harold (Donny) Ensminger passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Windsor Healthcare Residence, at age 58.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Groesbeck Funeral Home.

Funeral services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Rex Bland officiating.   Burial will follow in Kosse City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Paul Ensminger, Kevin Ensminger, Randy Ingram, James Ingram, Josh Persilver, and CJ Persilver.

Donny was born May 6, 1963 in Hillsboro, Texas to Donald Paul Ensminger and Nora Ingram Ensminger. 

Donny was a welder by profession but preferred to work outside doing farm work.  He worked many years part-time for the City of Kosse and was a Volunteer Fireman for many years.  He worked with his parents for several years with the Central Texas Food Bank.

Donny was preceded in death by his father and his wife Becky in 2020.

He is survived by his mother, Nora Ensminger; two brothers, Paul Ensminger and his wife Anna, and Kevin Ensminger and his wife Cindy; three sisters-in-law, Terry Persilver, Connie Austin and husband Kelly, and Rachel Rowe and husband Cheston.    There are also several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends and extended family.
