Edith Louise (Foy) Leveron, of Kosse, passed away in Lake Jackson, on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was 102 years old.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2024, in the First Baptist Church of Kosse.
Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30th, in the First Baptist Church of Kosse, with Pastor Ricky Waller officiating. Burial will follow in the Kosse City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Johnnie Vernor, Don Postell, Bobby Cain, Christopher Kennedy, Woods Miller, and Blake Hobbs. Honorary pallbearers are Kevin Thompson, Brandon Hobbs, Peace Lawal, and Klayton Thompson.
Edith was born August 27, 1922, in Kosse. She was united in marriage with Dennis Leveron on June 26, 1943, and they made their home in Kosse many years prior to his death in 2012.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Albert and Ruby Maebelle Foy; one brother, William Arnold Foy; one niece, Brenda Ann Foy; one nephew, William Arnold Foy; and her husband, Dennis Leveron.
She is survived by her son, Dennis "Biff" Leveron and wife Mary Katherine of Lake Jackson; daughter, Deborah Ann Bailey of Houston; four grandchildren: Melanie Hobbs, Chris Leveron (Patricia), Kevin Thompson (Nicole), and Savannah Kelly; eleven great grandchildren: Brandon, Blake, Bailey, Klayton, Keaton, Ashton, Caliope, Cohen, Conor, Ariana, and Randall; four great-great grandchildren: Parker, Paisley, Payton, and Paige; and a niece, Pam Broussard (Woods).
