Finis McCollum, of Thornton, passed away at home on Friday, February 12, 2021, at age 79.
Finis was born December 7, 1941 to Finis McCollum and Ruth McCollum in Albertville, Alabama.
Finis was united in marriage with Alice Moss on August 27, 1960 in St. Louis, MO. They lived for awhile in Chicago, where his oldest two children were born. After living and working in Houston, TX., he moved to Thornton twenty-two years ago.

He loved the people in Mart, who called him “Pops.” He closed the store two years ago as his health was declining.
Finis was a jokester, acting like a big kid, with everyone. He always had something to say and laugh about. He loved his grandchildren.
