Gary Wayne Goodson

Gary Wayne Goodson, of Lake Limestone, passed away at his residence on February 19, 2021, at age 72. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jon Honea officiating. Gary was born October 3, 1948 to Sonny and Earlene Mitchell Goodson in Conroe. He grew up and attended schools there. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Gary was a sales rep for medical supplies in the Houston area. After he retired he moved to Lake Limestone. He loved to fish and hunt. Gary was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by friends, Cindy Lide and Truett and wife B. J. Tooke; a brother, Jerry Boyd of Rockwall; as well as other friends.
