Grayson Dean Alfaro passed away peacefully in his loving mother's arms on January 27, 2019. Grayson was born on January 8, 2019. In his two short weeks of life, Grayson touched many hearts and was known in NICU as the "fiesty one." He was deeply loved by family and friends, and most of all, by his mother and big sister. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, February 4, 2019, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Deacon Dwight Mahoney of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mexia. Visitation will begin at 6:00 before the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel by Deacon Mahoney. Burial will follow at Big Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Alfaro, Lupe Alfaro and Prince Alfaro. Ashley Alfaro and Fernando Alfaro will be ushers. Honorary pallbearers will be Zoelan Alfaro, Adrian Aflaro, and Anthony Alfaro. Grayson Dean is survived by his mother, Hollie Alfaro of Mart; sister, Annabella Ruger of Mart; uncles and aunts, Adam Alfaro, Charlie Alfaro, Robert Alfaro, Daina Alfaro, Angelo Alfaro, and Margaret Alfaro, all of Mart; and grandparents, Arturo and Martha Alfaro of Mart and great-grandparents, Guadalupe Alfaro and Isabel Alfaro of Groesbeck.
