Hermelinda Gonzalez

Hermelinda “Linda” Gonzalez, of Groesbeck, passed away at her home on Monday, September 9, 2024, at age 50, after a hard year of illness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Cesar Gonzalez and other family members officiating.  

Linda was born October 20, 1973, in Mexico to Jesus Gonzalez and Reyna Navarrete Gonzalez. She grew up in Mexico and moved to the United States about twenty years ago and has lived in Groesbeck with her family since 2016.

She was a homemaker, wife, and mother who loved taking care of her family. She loved yellow roses, which she grew, and she loved raising Yorkie dogs, with three being her home companions, especially Princess.

Linda was preceded in death by her father, Jesus Gonzalez and a niece, Diana Chavez.

She is survived by her husband Juan Hernandez of Groesbeck; daughters, Claudia Hernandez, Alejandra Hernandez, and Alondra Hernandez, all of Groesbeck; her mother, Reyna Navarrete of Mexico; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Claudia and Cesar Gonzalez of Mexia; and her mother-in-law, Eva Morones of Mexia.
