Horral Ingram Jones, Jr.

Horral Ingram Jones, Jr., of Waco, passed away at Ascension Providence Hospital in Waco on Sunday, July 20, 2024, at age 77.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kosse City Cemetery.

Horral was born June 27, 1947, in Florida to Horral Ingram Jones, Sr. and Alice Marie Theal Jones. He grew up in the Houston area, and graduated from Cy-Fair High School. 

Horral was self-employed in many different businesses during his life, including construction. Over thirty years ago, he moved to Kosse where he was a rancher, running a large herd of cattle. He enjoyed any physical work and being out in nature with his cattle and dogs. He worked 7 days a week and never took a vacation. Work was his life story.

Horral was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Glenda Jones.

He is survived by his wife, Marina S. Shevkunova Jones of Waco; sons, David Jones of Kosse and Horral Jones III of Houston; daughter, Barbie Lon of Houston; grandsons, Justin Luke and Tyler Luke of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Horace Lee and Carol Jones of Houston; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
