He was united in marriage with his wife, Teresa Dianne Hodges, where they lived in Baytown, until moving to their home “The Ranch” in Oletha, TX. He enjoyed hunting, playing golf, working and taking care of his ranch, and life in the country; but most of all, what gave him the greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years from June 1961 through July 1965, in San Bernadino, California at Norton Air Force Base.

Jack helped his brother Bill start Hodges Overhead Door Company and later took over the reins as owner. After he finished with that, he later had his business of Hodges and Associates, from which he retired.

One of his great passions and proud journey of his life came to him in 2006 when he was recognized as a member of the Masonic Lodge of Thornton #486. He later served as Past Master and District Deputy Grand Master in 2011.

His spirit will always remain with us and he will be thoroughly missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved him.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at his house at “The Ranch” located at 4292 LCR 758, Thornton, TX. 76687, on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
