Jackie Fain Sanders

Jackie Sanders recently of Corsicana, formerly of Groesbeck, passed away Saturday morning, March 2, 2024, at her home in Corsicana with her daughters by her side.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Monday, March 4, 2024, followed by the funeral service being conducted at 11 AM, all in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Sutton of Oletha Baptist Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery.

Jackie was born on November 16, 1944, in Mexia Texas to James Wells and Sadie Fullen Wells. She lived in Farrar, TX until going to Mexia High School. Jackie lived most of her adult life in Groesbeck where she was employed at Mexia State School, and the United States Postal Service where she retried. Jackie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Groesbeck. Jackie was a sweet and spicy lady. She loved her family and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her spouse Wade Sanders, parents James and Sadie Fullen Wells, as well as her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins.

Jackie is survived by her daughters Linda and husband John Douglas of Corsicana, TX. Gayla Nabors of Corsicana, TX and Diana Sanders of Groesbeck, TX; sons, Steven and wife Patti Sanders of Groesbeck, Raymond and wife Melissa Sanders of Groesbeck TX, and Kevin Sanders of Groesbeck, TX; 18 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.
