Jina Sharice Robinson, of Pasadena, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 comfortably at home with family near at the age of 61.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 12:30-1 PM at Groesbeck Funeral Home.
Graveside service will begin at 1:30 P.M. at Fort Parker Memorial Park with Chaplain Jon Honea officiating. Burial will follow.
Pallbearers will include Carl Robinson, Cameron Robinson, Richard Maly Jr., Chance Maly, and Christopher Miller.
Jina was born April 4, 1957, to Jimmie and Rita Hensley of Houston, Texas. She grew up in Marshall, Brigham City, and Houston, and graduated from Milby High School in 1975. Jina continued her education and attended San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas, then worked at Goldman Sachs Oil and Gas for many years.
Jina married Carl Robinson on November 15, 1979 at the University of Houston Chapel. They resided in Moulton and Houston, later settling in Pasadena, Texas. Family, which includes her husband Carl, her children Candra and Cameron, and her grandchildren Caylee and Cayson, were her whole life. Jina had an amazing soul and a generous, loving attitude toward each and every person she came across. She leaves with us a permanent impression of the qualities she emphasized over the many years of her life.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents Jimmie and Rita Hensley; brother, Craig Hensley.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Carl Robinson; daughter and son-in-law, Candra and Richard Maly, Jr. of Katy; son, Cameron Robinson of Houston; grandchildren Caylee and Cayson Maly; cousins Rita Karen Gallagher Aronson, Cheryl Boyd, Ron Waters, and John Waters.
