Joe Longoria of Angleton, TX, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2019 in Angleton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Fort Parker Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Thomas Robbins officiating. Joe was born January 16, 1954 in Brownsville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father and mother. He graduated from high school in Brownsville in 1977, continuing his education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology from Texas State University, and a Master’s Degree in Education from Texas A&M in 1991. He was an Industrial Technology teacher in Brazosport ISD, and followed as an Assistant Principal and Principal of Columbia High School, retiring in 2011. Joe was united in marriage with Paige Porter in 1981 in Houston. He is survived by his wife, Paige Longoria of Angleton; mother-in-law, Betty Porter of Groesbeck; step-father, Manuel Vera of Brownsville; sisters, Christy Flores and husband Richard of Houston and Fidela Lanuex and husband Steven of Port Aransas; and brother, Steve Vera of Springdale, Arkansas.
