Joshua Dale Carpenter

Joshua Carpenter of Groesbeck passed away Friday, August 28, 2020, at his home near Fort Parker State Park.

Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at Tidwell Prairie Cemetery with Pastor William Wright of Marlin officiating.

Pallbearers will be Mason Carpenter, Gavin Carpenter, Whitney Carpenter, Josh Carpenter, Jr., Trinitee Carpenter, Dustin Carpenter, and Mario Galvan.

Josh was born in Bryan, Texas on July 25, 1982 to Dennis and Diane Carpenter.  He attended Groesbeck High School and graduated in 2000.  After high school, Josh attended college at TSTC in Waco and graduated with associate degrees in Network Administration and Network Security. Outside of school and work, Josh enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and spending time with his kids.

Josh is preceded in death by his mother, Diane Carpenter; his father, Dennis Carpenter; and his grandparents, Jean and Louis Hegefeld and Betty and William Hailey.

He is survived by his children Mason, Gavin, Whitney, Josh Jr., and Trinitee Carpenter all of Groesbeck; brother, Dustin Carpenter and wife Cindy of Lorena; Jessica Davis of Houston; two aunts; two uncles; nieces Allie and Halie; six cousins and extended family.
