Kosse

Kari Allyn (Anderson) Arriola, of Kosse, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024, at age 42.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Kosse Apartments in the near future, with more information on date and time added at this site.

Kari was born in Waco on February 9, 1981, to Jerry Anderson and Sondra (Carpenter) Anderson.   She grew up there and graduated from Waco High.

Kari and her long-time fiancé, John Conrad Erskine, III moved to Kosse about six years ago, with their twin boys, to be with family in Kosse.  Kari worked as cashier and manager at various convenience stores and restaurants in Waco and had worked in Kosse at Cefco as manager and then at Exxon as assistant manager.

Kari was loved by so many people, both family and friends.  She loved people and animals.  She had a big heart and would do anything for you.    She loved spending time with her twin boys playing with their Legos and video games.  The twins were not identical, but Jayson resembled her and acted like his dad, and Braxton resembled his dad and acted like his mom.    Since Halloween was her very favorite holiday, Kari and John Conrad had planned to be married this year on 10-31-2024.  She will be greatly missed and will continue to be in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.

Kari was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Anderson in2009 and Sondra Anderson in 2008, and her oldest son, Brandon Followell, on August 20, 2023.

She is survived by her fiancé, John Conrad Erskine III of Kosse; sons, Braxton Lee Erskine and Jayson Carlyle Erskine of Kosse; middle son, David Followell; and many others who cared about her.
