Lindsey Lee Pierce, who lived at Lake Limestone, passed away at home on July 18, 2019.
A Memorial service will be held in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, August 17, 2019, with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon and the service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Chaplain Jon Honea will officiate.
Lindsey was born March 3, 1930 in Thomaston, GA. He served in the U. S. Navy from March 1947 through February 1950. He was united in marriage with his wife, Jean on April 1, 1949 in Yuma, Arizona. Lindsey worked as a machinist for Cameron Iron until retiring. After retirement Lindsey and Jean moved to Lake Limestone.
Lindsey was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean Pierce; and grandson, Keith Pierce.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Jennifer Pierce and Ray and Diana Pierce; grandchildren, Scott Pierce, Lindsey Pierce, and Aaron and wife Hanna Pierce; nine great grandchildren: Nina, Joseph, Bryan, Matthew, Johnny, Scott, Bridgett, Brittany, and Ava; one great-great grandchild, Korban; and brother, Billy Pierce and sister, Marie Jones.
