Faye was born December 26, 1954, to Curtis Owens and Hazel Owens in Winkler County. She grew up and attended school in Lubbock.
Faye was married to Larry Wayne Stubblefield. She continued living in Lubbock many years, where she raised her daughter and worked as a waitress. She moved to Corsicana while her daughter was a teenager; and later in the early 90’s, they moved to Thornton and then Groesbeck. She worked at Hobbs Bonded Fibers for awhile and then worked at Mexia State School until she retired.
Faye enjoyed flower gardening, loved butterflies, and enjoyed all animals, but her greatest love was for her dog, Prissy. Faye and her daughter Misty looked so much alike they were sometimes thought to be sisters. She had the privilege of being a grandmother to Chance and to hold her great grandson, Rhett.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Misty and Randy Funderburk; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Debbie Owens; brother and sister-in-law Charles “Red” and Shannon Owens; brother-in-law, Mike Ferrill; and grandson, Chance Funderburk and his wife, Jayme; and great grandson, Rhett.
The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care given to Faye by AccentCare (formerly Texas Home Health) and the Hospice nurses.
