Pascual Galvan of Groesbeck passed away October 10, 2024, age 46, at Baylor Scott & White-Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel by Deacon Daniel Ramirez.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Mexia at 12 Noon followed by burial at Faulkenberry Cemetery.
Pascual was born on July 21, 1978, in Monterrey, Mexico. He was a rancher and loved cattle, horses and all farm animals. He had his own ranch and worked his own livestock. He loved working the land and stock with his sons, teaching them how to ranch. Pascaul was also employed by Redstone Longhorn Cattle Ranch in Thornton.
Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, welding, and attending social evenings with friends and family. Cooking BBQ for his family was something he loved to do and was proud to be the main family cook.
Pascual is preceded in death by grandparents, San Juanita Nino and Francsico Contreras; father-in-law, Felix and Rosalinda Lopez.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Galvan; children, Brissa Galvan, Jonathon Galvan, Isaiah Galvan; parents, Graciela and Cruz Galvan; siblings, Maria Sanchez and husband Martin, Francisco Galvan, Azucena Galvan, Juan Carlos and wife Denise Galvan, Vanezza Galvan, Felipe and wife Cynthia Galvan, Mario Galvan and Perla Galvan; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
