Patricia Joan Leopold, of Lake Limestone (Jewett side), passed away on Monday, November 26, 2018, at age 79. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Faulkenberry Cemetery, with Reverend Troy Brooks of the Lost Prairie Baptist Church officiating. Patricia was born February 10, 1939 in Oklahoma City, OK. to Cordie Bullard and Frances Hayes Bullard. Patricia married Gunter Leopold on December 14, 1963 in Houston where they lived for a short time, before moving to Tomball. Patricia was a mother and housewife. She enjoyed the family horses at Tomball and participated with the whole family in trail rides. She enjoyed the Houston Livestock Show, country western music, and Southern Living magazine. She took painting lessons, and painted many oil paintings which she used to decorate her home. When they retired, they built a home at Lake Limestone. Although she was not interested in the water, she enjoyed the view and seeing and feeding all the wildlife “critters” and the wild birds. She was a member of the Lost Prairie Baptist Church. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Laura McKissick. She is survived by her husband, Gunter Leopold of Jewett; son, Clark Leopold of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and William Roberts of Conroe; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Nicole and Scott Tenney of Splendora; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Glenn and Amanda Rocka of Conroe; and three great grandchildren: Aubree Tenney, Riley Rocka, and Peyton Rocka.
