Prisilla Jane Roy

Prisilla Jane "PJ" Roy, age 77, passed from this earth on January 24, 2022.

She was born July 22, 1944 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rob Roy. She is survived by her 3 children; daughter Sara Barnes of Lafayette, Colorado, son Richard Garland of Kosse, Texas, and daughter Amber Garland Tucker of San Leon, Texas, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

PJ, as she was affectionately known by those who loved her, loved life. In her younger years she was active in local community theater for many years at Clear Creek Country Theater in League City, Texas. She had a passion for singing and needlepoint. She and her husband, Rob, enjoyed attending Scottish festivals in Colorado. She never tired of learning. After she retired she kept active taking college classes and was learning to speak Gaelic. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Her Memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Kosse, Texas on January 28, 2022. Service will begin at 11:00 am.
